Dry Roads & Breakfast
We met at Bovey Tracey bright and early for a prompt 0700 departure. The reward was a lovely clear, brisk run up to Whiddon Down. Graeme was meant to be joining us at Mortenhampstead but was delayed due to a flat battery. A couple of miles behind a milk tanker heading north of Whiddon allowed Graeme to catch up, from then on, we enjoyed some great roads through mid-Devon before heading down to Re:Fuel.
We were met at Re:Fuel by Jackie, and another Graeme along with a brand-new member, Nick, with all in their new cars (Jackies Blue Boxster GTS, since referred to as Blurple, 996 C4 best buy ever and bright wheels Turbo S / go big or go home, respectively)
ackie had also brought a club flag, so we were able to make full use of the prime spot Re:Fuel had allocated us in front of their Falken feature wall.
Re:Fuel are always appreciative of us visiting, particularly as a club, and look after us. It was great to catch up over breakfast and meet some new members and chat to some prospective ones in the car park. Always some interesting other cars in the car park to have look at too.
